Youth Workshops
Happy 2010!
The Perry Players is offering two sessions of the Youth Theatre Workshop in June of 2010. Participants will receive two weeks of training in stage movement, audition technique, acting, characterization, makeup, dance, and singing, culminating in performances on the final weekend.
The dates for the 2010 Perry Players Youth Theatre Workshop will be:
- Session 1 - May 31- June 11with performances on June 11 and June 12
- Session 2 - June 14-25 with performances on June 25 and June 26
During the first week, the workshop hours are 9 a.m. until noon for ages 7 through 12; teenagers may stay until 1:25 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. On Friday, everyone is finished at noon. The second week the hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 1:55 p.m. for everyone.
The cost of each session of the workshop is $130 per youth and includes a complimentary t-shirt. The workshop is open to youth ages 7 and up.
A deposit of $40 per child is needed to reserve a space in the workshop. Each workshop has a limited number of spaces. Once the workshop is full, your name will be added to the waiting list. The deposit is fully refundable, if we are notified of your cancellation by May 14. The check should be mailed to:

******IMPORTANT: Please send your child’s name, age, t-shirt size (size Youth Small through Adult XL), and what session they plan to attend. This year, it is imperative that I know whether your child will be a teenager by July 31.
I cannot register your child without all of this information. You will receive a confirmation upon this submission.
